Sonu Nigam is one of the very few singers who are placed so high on the sky of Indian Movies Music & Pop Industry as well. This great singer was born on 30^th July, 1937 to Mr. Agam Kumar Nigam and Mrs Shobha Nigam in Faridabad, Haryana, India. He got his music training from his father Agam Kumar Nigam.

Sonu Nigam left Faridabad and went to Mumbai when he was eighteen years old. His purpose was to find a place for himself in the music industry of Mumbai. He also started a distance learning programme there. His debut song was ‘Achha sila diya tune mere pyaar ka’ from the film ‘Bewafa sanam’. Afterwards, doors of successes opened for this melodious singer. He got a lot of offers for play back singing and audio albums. Besides playback singing and audio albums he was also offered to host music shows like Sa Re Ga Ma which made him very popular among small screen audience as well. He was in the list of most popular singers ever.

Sonu Nigam bagged dozens of awards for his beautiful Pop songs and playback songs. Some of his popular songs are;
